We all know the benefits of eating freshly prepared food at home, but despite our best intentions or wishes, we don’t always have the time or the ability to do so. Having healthy options readily available is important for anyone who values a wholesome diet in a modern world – but finding those options can be extremely difficult.
As a food product development, I was already passionate about food, and even dreamt of running my own food company – but becoming a mum really opened my eyes to what was missing: real, healthy food, ready to eat for busy families. Instead, when I was searching the supermarket for healthy snacks for my daughter, I found most snacks were high in refined sugars or salt, saturated fats, with lists of artificial ingredients that were just as daunting to me as they are to mums without my industry knowledge.
